For at least four years, Kelly F. Fulmer practiced law in the Boone County courthouse.
On Wednesday, he stood in the same courthouse and told a judge that it was all a lie.Melcher sentenced Fulmer to three years in jail, but allowed Fulmer to enter a pretrial diversion program. That means he will not have to serve the jail time.
As part of a plea agreement, prosecutors dropped two theft by deception charges and amended another theft charge to a lesser offense.
Check out the balls on this guy, just one day thinking, "Hey, being a lawyer looks like fun, maybe I'll pretend to be one of those guys for a couple of years." Hell, I barely have the stones to lie to broads at the bar that I'm a lawyer, let alone actually go in front of a judge pretending to be one. Then after playing lawyer for a couple of years and getting busted he gets the same punishment I would get for taking a piss at a certain unnamed horse track? This just proves that college and all other type of school is all a bunch of bullshit. This guy is out practicing law and going to court for five years before anyone even gets suspicious. Regular old Frank Abagnale, Jr. over here.
