Throwback Thursday: Peter Warrick Edition

Peter Warrick was arguably one of the most elusive players to ever step on a football field. If not for being drafted by the worst franchise in football, and battling injuries his whole pro career, he could have been one of the greatest players in NFL history. Warrick actually played in a Super Bowl though, which I found hard to believe myself, returning punts for the Seattle Seahawks. Warrick was a lock for the Heisman in 1999, but some groupie working at Dillards fucked him over as we all know. It's hard to pick a highlight out of the video that stands out, but the move at the 2:16 mark literally made my jaw drop to the floor. After watching this it's hard to imagine how anyone ever tackled the guy. Warrick went for 160 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead the 'Noles to a National Championship in the 1999 Sugar Bowl, and here's a video of "The Catch", and yes, that is Sebastin Janikowski's fat ass kicking the extra point.
