CHETUMAL, Mexico (AP) — Police say a woman was caught trying to sneak her common-law-husband out of a Mexican prison in a suitcase following a conjugal visit.
A spokesman for police in the Caribbean state of Quintana Roo says staff at the prison in Chetumal noticed that the woman seemed nervous and was pulling a black, wheeled suitcase that looked bulky.
Spokesman Gerardo Campos said Monday that prison guards checked the bag of 19-year-old Maria del Mar Arjona and found inmate Juan Ramirez Tijerina curled up inside in the fetal position.

Gotta admire the dedication of Maria del Mar Arjona. Meets her hubby Juan in jail to rub out a HJ, and ends up trying to wheel his ass out the front door. Gotta put all the blame on Maria in this case. Just no way that Juan actually wanted to break out of jail. Pretty sure jail is the safest fucking place in Mexico to live, no way he wanted to go back to the outside where there are literally hundreds of people dying every hour from drugs and gangs and shit. Not to mention the fact that they allow conjugal visits make it that much more enticing to enjoy your 8x10 as long as possible.
