TUXTLA GUTIERREZ, Mexico — Some members of an indigenous community in southern Mexico are under investigation on suspicion they pushed a police car over a cliff, killing two officers and a civilian inside, prosecutors said Monday. A fourth man reportedly survived.
Residents of San Cristobalito in Chiapas state were angry that the officers were executing an arrest warrant for a community member accused of auto theft, state prosecutor Mario Hernandez told The Associated Press.
Hernandez said townsfolk, known as the Tzotzil Mayan Indians, took the agents hostage Sunday and demanded the government pay $4,300 for their release.
An agreement was reached, but about 200 people who were displeased with the negotiation waited for the agents to get inside their unit before pushing it off a 400 meter cliff.
Hold the fuck on, rewind the tapes, 200 hundred of these fuckers demanded a ransom of $4,300?? My public school education tells me that's $21.50 per man to kill 2 Pigs and a Jorge. You all ever heard of the phrase "reach for the moon, and if you don't succeed, fall amongst the stars?" It doesn't go "Step on a chair, and if you're too fucking stupid not to make it, step back off to the ground." Dumbest bunch of criminals I've ever heard of, but I guess you can't expect a whole lot with 200 Pablos, Juans and Miguels runing the show who literally have never seen $21.50 there entire fucking lives. I mean this is Mexico, shouldn't you be out selling dope and swimming to Florida and shit instead of asking for a 20 spot? Step your game up and ask for 100 billion dollars or something.
